💚Care Instructions:
🔆Light:
Rubber plants thrive in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the
🍃leaves.
Place them near a north or east-facing window for optimal growth.
🫗Watering:
Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering.
Water thoroughly, ensuring good drainage. Empty excess water from the saucer to prevent root rot.
Reduce watering during the dormant winter months.
Humidity:
Rubber plants appreciate moderate to high humidity. Mist the leaves regularly or use a humidity tray.
Grouping plants together can also increase humidity.
Temperature:
Maintain a consistent room temperature between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C).
Avoid sudden temperature fluctuations.
Soil:
Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix.
A mix with perlite or orchid bark works well.
Fertilization:
Feed your rubber plant every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring to summer).
Use a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Pruning:
Regular pruning encourages branching and a fuller appearance.
Trim leggy stems to promote bushier growth.
